Big Barn Dialogues 2024
June 24-26, 2024
Yellowstone Club in Big Sky, Montana
Big Barn Dialogues
The Big Barn Dialogues are a highly focused and invitation-only event on U.S. – China relations. A program of the Rieschel Foundation, the event is made possible, in large part, due to our amazing partnerships with the Baucus Institute, the Asia Society, the Atlantic Council, and the Yellowstone Club Community Foundation.
Summer 2024 will mark the event's sixth year. Launched in 2019, the Big Barn Dialogues’ initial objective was to create a baseline understanding of the reality of China’s political, economic, and innovation trajectories that would inform U.S. policy makers. This summer we will continue our journey of discovery.
Who is involved?
The most important part of any event is always the people involved. 2023 will be no different as we look forward to hearing from old friends as well as new. A strong, knowledgeable group of representatives from the public and private sectors, academics, policy leadership, military, and technology organizations will share their candid opinions on the current state of the U.S. - China relationship.
These representatives are accomplished experts, and they will continue the tradition of being catalysts for reflection and debate, concisely laying out key insights or hypotheses while inviting reactions from the group based on each participant’s own experience.
